PLTW is a one-year credit (state approved) course, which meets students high school graduation requirements. The curriculum starts with Introductory to Engineering and ends with the Engineering Design and Development.

PLTW Engineering is a robust pre-engineering program implementing project-based learning. In PLTW Engineering, students get to implement key principles from science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in a single class.

The implementation of these principles applies to real-world application where students must use critical thinking to help solve environmental issues.
